Beautiful and haunting images of Sri Lanka captured by acclaimed photographer Giacomo Bruno

Beautiful and extraordinary pictures of Sri Lanka by Italian photographer Giacomo Bruno are featured on his own website and that of Phoblographer—The Psychology of Creative Photography.

The latter focuses on Giacomo’s recent phot-essay on fishermen, particularly the über-idiosyncratic stilt fishermen of Koggala, in his Raw Gold in Sri Lanka series, which also includes cinnamon and tea.

Says Phoblographer: “Giacomo visited the town in 2016, most likely on the same trip where he documented tea picking in the country. As with the Ceylon tea series, he beautifully captured the daily life of the stilt fishermen of Sri Lanka.”
